I am multimedia journalist, writer, producer, podcaster and video editor based in New York working for Univision Network and other media companies. I gather information and present stories for local, national and international audiences. Compelling storytelling using social media to reveal the faces behind the numbers is my passion.

In 2021, I was nominated by the National Academy of Television Arts for “Outstanding Coverage of Breaking News in Spanish” for my reporting on the Black Lives Matter protests on Univision’s political show Al Punto with Jorge Ramos. I also received National Emmy Awards for Outstanding Newscast in 2021 and 2023. In total, my reports accumulated millions of views on social media.

My work has taken me across so many corners of the U.S. and around the world, from covering the immigration crisis for Univision in multiple U.S. cities to documenting the war in Ukraine, where I produced stories from within the conflict zone for over two months.

In 2022 I launched and hosted “Pulso y Péndulo” a podcast combating disinformation and polarization in Spanish, using my experience of more than a decade covering immigration policy, natural disasters, political campaigns and breaking news.

While at Spectrum NY1 I presented the news from the anchor’s desk and created a transportation reporter beat I covered for two years. Here I pitched, produced, shot and edited news packages every day from the field.

Before that I worked as an international contributor based in the U.S. for Latin American TV stations. My television reports aired in Andina TV in Perú, Ecuavisa in Ecuador, Wapa TV in Puerto Rico and radio stations in Mexico, Colombia and Argentina.

I graduated from Hunter College - CUNY in 2016 where I majored in TV and Documentary Production. While at Bergen Community College, I was the News Editor for the monthly "The Torch Newspaper" In 2010, I received first place from the New Jersey Collegiate Press Association for my investigative piece "Students working on campus endure pay-cuts" which eventually lead to resignation of the president of that institution.

Engaged in enterprise investigative journalism, producing, filming, writing, video editing and directing. I am highly skilled skilled on the use of wide array of cameras, software for sound and video editing.

Proficient at a profesional level in English, Spanish and Portuguese and learning Russian.
